A CASE STUDY:
Approx. 120 tons of sand per kilometer are required to lay line using conventional laying methods.
For comparison:
A truck has a loading capacity of approx. 15 tons.
At the same time, at least the same mass of earth would have to be transported away (displacement).
For comparison:
This corresponds to a shipload of transport goods that have to be transported to the construction site (and all the way back).
The geotextile material used by Cable Potect, on the other hand, fits into a single transporter load with a single journey.
Resulting advantages:
Quarries and landfills are relieved. Less fuel consumption and therefore less CO2 pollution. Laying directly using a laying plow, to save the entire disposal.

Co-developer
My name is Theo Saathoff. For more than 40 years I have been active in cable and wire construction with innovative laying techniques and have developed a wealth of experience in my international projects. Cable protection in wind farms, as well as in difficult to access terrain, is and will remain a major issue that brings with it some challenges. The aim is to ensure the greatest possible protection of the lines and optimal heat dissipation, to protect resources, to save capital and time. Our development of the winding machine including carrier vehicle offers an alternative to costly and transport-intensive, conventional laying techniques. Cable Protect stands for uncomplicated and fast earthing of various cables and lines, whose maximum protection is guaranteed.
